Today marks the day our creative marketing and design studio turns 9, and ‘pop‘ – that’s the sound of a fine bottle of wine! It’s the number of love, eternity, karma, enlightenment, awakening, humanity, philanthropy, and charity.
The last 12 months have been, well, unique… haven’t they?
While our office relocation and lease agreement couldn’t have been more poorly timed than Feb 7, 2020 (having only 1 month to settle in) we were motivated to get back into our new space. It was gratifying to be reunited as a team for increased creativity and optimized collaboration.
Is it too late for a grand opening party? Asking for a friend…
Anyway, like many businesses that barely made it through the economic sh*t storm (we’re truly blessed to have survived), we were able to translate our difficult learnings into positive change that inspired us to roll out new services.
It’s hard to believe that we transitioned from a shop that was 60% to 90% digital by supplementing many of our print collateral and trade show work with a suite of strategy, messaging, and digital marketing solutions.
One of the defining contributors to our pivot (I know, quit it already with the COVID-speak), was my Certification as a StoryBrand® Guide giving our firm a leg up and an official ‘license’ to add increased value to our client’s organizations as we help them clarify their message to the marketplace.
Throughout the year, despite client budget cuts and slow & steady decision-making, we were still able to forge many new relationships in an array of different industry segments — some familiar and some not so much. If you know us, we love a good challenge and opportunity to practice our invaluable outside perspective.
Of all the incredibly awful things that happened this year, the silver lining is that we’re all very fortunate to have gotten through the most challenging times of this pandemic while remaining healthy. Maybe not mentally, but hey. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Despite all of the madness, our 2020 achievements didn’t go unrecognized by our community of peers. At the NJ Ad Club Jersey Awards, our Comax Flavors Capabilities Deck took 2nd Place, and our very own Costello Creative Group ‘Shock & Awe Kit’ took home 1st!
GDUSA and the American Graphic Design Awards sent us a couple of crisp certificates for our wall, recognizing both The Society of Flavor Chemists Website Design and Marotta Controls, Inc. Trade Show Display as award winners.
So to our distinguished clients, creative team, trusted partners, and admirable mentors – you are just a few of the many we’re extra thankful for, and we commend you for getting through these trying times alongside us.
We wouldn’t have the opportunity to help advance and elevate so many brands without these relationships in place. To that end, I’d like to thank you for the continued support and for placing your trust in our creative team to craft unique and memorable brand experiences.
So, whether it be B2B branding, website design & development, graphic design, or digital marketing solutions — I can speak for all of us at CCG when I say we’re proud to play an instrumental role in the strategic and tactical implementation of the tools that help you create awareness, cultivate trust, demonstrate authority, and build relationships that grow your business.
So here’s to a new (better) year of growth and prosperity, and we invite you to come along for the ride.
Perhaps we’ll see your smiling face in 3D sooner than later?
To Your Success!
